Milling Machines in Mobile Cross

The TM xxxx R milling machines fit perfectly into the processing of lightweight material as resin or wood, where you need a good feed and spindle rotation speed and a great surface precision, even on larger particulars, e.g.:

• Automotive models, at a scale of 1:1
• Models or moulds for marine industry, at a scale of 1:1

All our milling machines are designed individually, on the specific requests and spaces of our costumers. All the carpentry elements of the structure are internally reinforced with ribs that guarantee an excellent rigidity to the torsion and the bending even in case of sudden changes of direction or motion reverses.

Every structure before being processed is normalised in order to avoid potential future deformations. All the "R" series machines are equipped with two-rotating axles head, controlled by brushless servomotors with encoders mounted directly on the axles. The handling of the longitudinal axle (X axle), for milling machines with stroke equal to 7000mm, is allowed by precision sprocket-wheel/rack with grinded and treated teeth and "0" clearance precision gearboxes, while for milling machine with stroke equal to or less than 6000mm, is allowed by precision ball screws and pre-charged nut.

The handling of the transverse axle (Y axle) and of the vertical one (Z axle), is allowed by pre-charged precision ball screws sizing diameter 50 and pace 40. The tally on all the axes is allowed by high-resolution encoders or, where the client so requests, by high-resolution millesimal optical scales. All our engines for the handling of the linear axles are high-inertia brushless.

The different kind of spindles are chosen on the basis of costumer production needs.
